Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I need a health coach?

Let’s be honest - most of us don’t have a problem finding information about how to be healthy. All the info you could possibly read about any diet, workout program, detox, etc. can be found in a google search in a matter of seconds and for free. The problem most of us face is what to do with that information, right? We don’t have an information gap, we have a transformation gap! The value that I provide as a health coach is personalized support, guidance, and accountability for transforming your health and your life.

Why a six-session program for personalized coaching?

For most clients, I recommend a six-session coaching program, meeting twice per month. In this amount of time, a client will experience multiple situations, social events, seasons, holidays, work challenges, etc. They will recognize imbalances in different areas of their lives, and then will be able to work on them with my guidance and recommendations. Three months is a “sweet spot”, enough time for significant changes to be made, habits to be developed, and goals to be accomplished.

Clients are more than welcome to continue past the initial six-session program if desired.

How does group coaching work?

Group coaching is a great option for someone who is looking for community and accountability but isn’t quite ready to commit to a one-on-one, six month program. Each group will have six participants and will meet virtually twice a month.

Is a monthly payment the only option?

Automated monthly payments are typically the preferred method of payment for most clients. However, I do offer a 10% discount for an upfront, total program payment.

Where can I learn more about becoming a health coach?

The Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) has a wonderful online learning program that teaches a holistic perspective on health and healing. If you would like to learn more about their program (and to get a significant discount on tuition), click here.
